Eunkyung Kim

Eunkyung Kim is the full-time Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Software and the Director of the Center of SW Converge Education, Institute of SW Convergence Education, Hanbat National University (HBNU), Korea. He is also leading the intelligent System & Wireless (iSW) Laboratory at HBNU. His current research interests lie in intelligent computing and networking focused on wireless transmissions, radio resource managements, and access controls over wireless networks, including 3GPP 5G NR, 6GR. He received the B.S. degree from Yonsei University, the M.S. degree from Pohang University and Science and Technology (POSTECH), and the Ph.D. degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). Prior to joining HBNU, he was with Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) as a Principal Researcher/Senior Researcher/Researcher, where he was involved in the design, implementation, and standardisation of mobile networks, including mobile WiMAX, 3GPP LTE, 5G NR.
