Eunkyung Kim

Eunkyung Kim is the full-time Professor and Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Software, Hanbat National University (HBNU), Daejeon, Korea. He is also leading the intelligent System & Wireless (iSW) Laboratory at HBNU. His current research interests lie in intelligent computing and networking focused on wireless transmissions, radio resource managements, and access controls over wireless networks. He received the B.S. degree from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea, the M.S. degree from Pohang University and Science and Technology (POSTECH), Pohang, Korea, and the Ph.D. degree from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Korea, in 2003, 2005, and 2019, respectively. From 2005 to 2021, he was with Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) as a Principal Researcher/Senior Researcher/Researcher, Daejeon, Korea, where he was involved in the design, implementation, and standardisation of mobile networks, including mobile WiMAX, 3GPP LTE, and 5G NR.
