Every Anniversary, New York City

Patriot Day

What is Patriots Day? Credited to Massachusetts, Maine, and other states, now the United States, recognizes Patriot Day every year the day that September 11 falls on in memory of the people killed in the four series of coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda September 11, 2001.

The names of the victims who died in the borough of Manhattan, New York and Shanksville, Pennsylvania to include Virginia's 8th congressional district Arlington County on September 11, 2001, are read out against a background of soothing music.

Actions by the President and the first lady on "Patriot Day", credited to a published article by Newman, Andy

on September 11, 2010, titled "At a Memorial Ceremony, Loss and Tension".

On the New York Times, illustrates that the President of the United States attends a memorial service at the Pentagon.

The President then asks Americans to observe "Patriot Day" with a moment of silence.

Smaller services are held in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, which are usually attended by the President's spouse.
