Foreign Language Board

Language education at our school, Hisar Anatolian Imam Hatip High School, is not confined to classroom walls. In order to increase our students' interest in language learning, improve their language awareness, and make basic everyday expressions more permanent, we have prepared a brand new "Foreign Language Board" in our school corridors.

This visual project aims to integrate language learning into every moment of the school day by ensuring our students are exposed to both English and Arabic. The board presents the most commonly used daily expressions, greeting phrases, introductory sentences, and basic questions needed in a school environment, along with their Turkish translations. While on break or walking down the corridor, our students will have the opportunity to reinforce their language skills by reviewing phrases such as "Good morning!", "Nice to meet you!", and "What do you say at school?".

Our board also includes quotes emphasizing our school's multilingual and multicultural educational approach. Phrases such as "Aynı okul, Farklı diller, Aynı hedef!" (Same school, Different languages, Same goal!), "Same School Different Languages Same Goal!", and "ONE SCHOOL, TWO LANGUAGES, MANY CONNECTIONS!" remind our students of our unity and shared goals while highlighting the importance of language learning.

We would like to thank all our teachers and students who contributed to the preparation of this beautiful and educational board. We believe that such projects will increase our students' motivation to learn languages and further elevate the quality of language education at our school.
