12. Permissions Used and Their Purpose

• INTERNET: Required to access online services, display advertisements, and enable certain features that require a network connection.

• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used to check your device's network connectivity status to optimize app behavior and avoid errors when offline.

• CAMERA: Allows you to capture images for profile pictures, transaction receipts, or inventory items within the app. Images are stored locally and not shared without your consent.

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES: Used to select, save, and access images or PDF reports for backup, restore, and sharing functionalities. The app only accesses files you select or create within the app.

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Allows the app to send you important notifications, such as reminders or backup/restore status updates. You can control notification permissions in your device settings.

• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to schedule precise reminders or notifications for important business events, such as payment due dates.

• MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: (If present) This permission is requested only for advanced backup/restore features. The app does not access or modify files outside its own data unless you explicitly select them. We recommend using the Storage Access Framework for file selection on newer Android versions.

Note: SMS reminders are now sent via your device's SMS app. The app does not send SMS directly and does not require or use the SEND_SMS permission.
