Laboratory

Our Laboratory

This laboratory started in April 2003, and conducted research activities at Osaka University from 2003 to 2011, and at Tokyo Institute of Technology/Institute of Science Tokyo since 2012. To date, there are 83 members enrolled, 41 students who have completed master's programs, and 11 students who have completed doctoral programs.

Many of the members' research themes tend to be related to four-dimensional manifolds and surface-knots, but some have also worked on themes such as mapping class groups of surfaces and quantum invariants of knots.

Members

15 students belong to our laboratory in AY 2024-2025: 2 postdocs, 8 in doctor course, 2 in master course, and 3 undergraduates.
