My Story
I come from a less fortunate household, and I am doing everything I can to build a better future.
I'm a hardworking 16 year old high-school student with big goals. I plan to go to the Schulich School of Business, where I intend to earn a Bachelor in Business Administration. I've consistently applied my ambition and achieved exceptional goals, averaging over 96% in all my courses during Grade 10 and 11. However, I know that academic success is only part of the journey.
That's why I started Hire a Teen— to support myself financially, gain real world experience, and grow as a person. I have sought dozens of part-time jobs, but they are either not hiring, or they do not fit my schedule with my volunteer commitments and academics.
So instead of waiting for an opportunity, I decided to create my own!
Going door to door and offering services has pushed me to be confident, responsible, and resilient. Every job I do, no matter how big or small, is a step toward my dream.
