From Stardust to DNA - Everything is Connected
Every single atom in our body, from the iron in our blood to the calcium in our bones, was forged in the heart of dying stars billions of years ago. When those stars exploded as supernovae, they scattered the building blocks across the universe, which long after gathered into our solar system, the Earth, and ultimately into the DNA that codes for all living things. We are not just looking at the universe; we are the universe waking up and looking at itself.

Når de stjerner eksploderede som supernovaer, spredte de byggestenene ud i universet, som lang tid efter samlede sig til vores solsystem, Jorden og i sidste ende til det DNA, der koder for alt levende.
