The Band

Chris Delbridge: Lead Vocals/Keyboards

Chris is a 30 year veteran of the Peoria music scene singing and playing keyboards in the bands, Slym Jym, The Situation, Blue Chip, Ravenwood, Raging Waters, Kick n the Pants, The Tearingbones, Cactus Creek and 7 West. In addition to Hindsight, Chris is also a singer and choir director for The Beatles tribute show, "The Long and Winding Road"

Music has always been at the center of Chris's life. He was obsessed with his parents record and 8-Track collection at an early age falling in love with the music of Buck Owens and Elvis Presley. His cousin Ken Thornton (guitar player with Neil Innes and the Rutles) introduced him to The Beatles on a summer vacation and it was all over!

Chris teaches music, directs the musical in the Princeville School District

John Wiltse: Lead guitar/vocals

John saw Chuck Berry on TV at 5 years old and knew instantly that playing guitar was a must. He nagged his family incessantly for 3 years for a guitar and finally started guitar lessons at 8 years old. John has competed in several state solo competitions for guitar, winning a 1st place trophy and a few blue ribbons.

Besides playing the guitar, John also played alto sax in junior high and high school and was voted into Princeville High School's Music Hall of Fame as well as winning a Music Scholarship from Princeville High School. After high school, John studied Guitar Performance at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ma.

He performed in several local bands in the 90's, including The Situation, Uppercut, and Sandbox Candy, and performs in the Orchestra for Princeville High School's yearly musical. John is excited to be reunited with old friends in 2020 to take one last epic run at the music scene!

Wayne Palmer: Bass Guitar

Wayne's foray into music started in 4th grade when he started playing the Trombone. He loved playing in all the different bands, marching, pep, concert, jazz bands, etc during his time at Limestone Community High School.

Wayne started playing bass guitar in 1970 in a 3 piece band named "Cheese". He has played in many clubs and schools and wedding receptions in the Peoria, Kewanee and Quad Cities areas in the bands "Inside Front", "Eddie Booe", and "Orion" throughout the 1970's, 80's and 90's.

Wayne "retired" from the music scene in the late 90's and has been busy playing in his church praise band, at different church events as well as playing in the pit orchestra for the musicals at Princeville High School and IVC High School.

Wayne just celebrated his 46th wedding anniversary with his lovely wife Robin, and is very proud of his extremely musically talented children, Michelle and Josh, and all of his grandchildren!

Darren McMillan: Drums

Darren’s drum playing started as soon as he could crawl to the pots and pans and his mom handed him wooden spoons!!  But, seriously.... fifth grade beginning band started his quest into the drumming world through junior high, and then high school gave way to many possibilities, concert, marching, jazz band, swing choir band, orchestra pit for musicals and then he graduated!!  Joining the band, The Situation and playing with Chris and John in the late 80’s.

Today, several decades later, 2 daughters, 2 grandkids and recently married again to an amazing lady....he’s been involved with the contemporary Christian band at church, and has played with the church band mates in the band, Tomcats.

Darren continues to share his passion and love for drums by teaching what he’s learned over many decades in private lessons with his students.
