Thanks for all the cadence coaching and adjustment recommendations. I have tried it for my last two runs and it sure makes a difference. I feel more stable and balanced. My heel used to scuff but it hasn't done it and I don't feel any pulling or tightness in my knees or hips.

Do it. I have learned so much about how to run and how to pace myself for long distance.
It helped me get out and run more regularly than I would have on my own. To have the progression plan laid out really helped me.

For the longest time I wanted a smaller waist and finally did it. Thanks to the class I went from a 34 inch, 35 inch waist to a 29 inch waist. Yahoo, and I want to keep going to class. JF
I joined my first run clinic in February to prepare to run a spring night race with my soccer team. But something happened along the way I started to love running and couldn't get enough of how great I felt after a run. Plus the wonderful supportive people I met was a bonus. CP

When I signed up for my first running clinic I was nervous and apprehensive. I did some running in the past but did not consider myself a runner. The class was so inspiring, encouraging and motivating. I quickly found that I liked running. I was getting fit and felt stronger and my clothes were fitting better. It made me want to keep at it. I signed up for my first half marathon race and when I crossed the finish line and the medal was put around my neck I knew I was hooked. LP
Prior to this clinic I was under the misconception that running meant going fast with few walk breaks. I tried running on my own once before and only lasted one month because I did not know how to effectively build up my endurance. The clinic helped me understand how to do that in a safe and manageable way. On the very first day it was such a relief to learn that the point is not necessarily to go fast. I began with doubts I could run 5K, but after following the system my confidence grew and I realized I could do more and ran the 10K race with a personal best. RG
I am not sure where the past year has gone! With no running experience, I started my first clinic with a 5K goal. Now, almost a year to the date that I ran that 5K I will be running my first half marathon. I've had fun, made new friends and learned a lot about a sport I hesitated to participate in because I thought I just would not be able to do it. LT
I was able to complete my first 10 KM race, injury free and I had a lot of fun in doing it. The running clinic is not only a 8 week plan but a start to a life time of running. I have completed 4 clinics and recently completed a half marathon! I could not have done it without the system and information provided. On top of achieving my running goals, I have made new friends and found a love for running. I have another half marathon planned for this year. NS
