The Manaslu Trek is a stunning and demanding journey in Nepal. It presents a challenge in terms of elevation and distance covered during that time 140 kilometers (86 miles), scaling from 900 meters to 5,100 meters, which amounts to a 4,200-meter ascent over 8-9 days. Trekkers typically cover 15-20 kilometers in the first four days, requiring 7-10 hours of walking daily, depending on the individual. The success rate of this trek is 100%. Below is a 13-day itinerary for the trek.
Day 1: Drive to Machhakhola (900 m) from Pokhara / Kathmandu ( this will take a whole full day depending on the traffic
Day 2: Machhakhola 900 m to jagat 1370 m O/N -20 km walk
Day 3: Jagat(1370)m to Deng (1865)m 21 km of walk
Day 4: Deng ( 1865) to Namrung (2630) 20 km
Day 5: Namrung (2630) to Shyala (3500)m
Day 6: Acclimatize in Shyala and visit the monastery (6-8) hours
Day 7: Shyala(3500)m to samagoan(3570)m
Day 8: Samagoan rest day, visit Manaslu base camp (4400)m and back to Samagoan
Day 9: Samagoan (3570)m to Samdo(3800 m)
Day 10: Samdo (3800)m to Dharamshala(4474)m -6.2 km
Day 11: Dharamshala (4474)m to Larke-la pass (5100)m and to Bhimtang (3700)m
Day 12: Bhimtang (3700m) to Tilijhe(2250) O/N -18 km
Day 13: Tilche (2200) to Dharapani and back to Pokhara (830)m
