"Himadri-Hans Handloom" (HHH) is an admirable project of the non-profit The Hans Foundation, which is collaborating with the government of Uttarakhand. The goals are to increase the marketability of handloom and handcrafted textiles from Uttarakhand, train rural women artisans in Kumaon in technical and design skills so they can improve their traditional crafts, and create locally made goods that appeal to modern consumers' needs and aspirations. Our goal is to significantly improve the lives of 5000 Uttarakhandi women weavers.
