This laboratory is a part of ICAR-National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM), Mau, India. Currently we are working to understand and utilize microbial diversity from different ecological niches. Mainly, we look for beneficial bacteria and cyanobacteria which can be used for nutrient management, stress alleviation and bioactive metabolite production. Besides, we are working to develop rapid diagnostic assays for fungal phytopathogens.
