I am a big believer in you make the best of your situation and try to make each day the most colorful, bright, and dazzling day. Everything is temporary, nothing is forever. Each facet of my life I am slowly making a beautiful project for myself first, this then gives me the ability (when the time comes) to then wash it all away with the tides of life.

My family has been living in Colorado for over 5 generations. I am Chicano born in north Thornton and raised in Valverde and west Denver.

Growing up as gay creative individual has been quite the journey. I still struggle with social expectations on how masculine and feminine I am expected to behave. My pathway to confidence has been lengthy, but I am happy to say I feel more secure than ever

My cultural heritage
I am learning more about my heritage, but I can say I am a Chicano born from a long line of farm workers from Brighton Colorado on my fathers side, and coalminers from Walsenburg Colorado on my mothers side. My family has slowly gotten better opportunity as the generations progressed, but only my grandparents on each side were able to escape poverty levels of income.
