Google Drive is the cloud-based location that all your Google created files are stored. Each time you create a Doc, Slide, or Sheet, you can find each file in your Google Drive.
Google Docs is the app to use to create documents. Documents can have text, images, links, and drawings. It is similar to Microsoft Word.
Google Slides is the app to use to create slide presentations. It has many options to enhance presentations with embedded videos, animations, and more. Teaches may choose to use Google Slides for presenting new content to students. It is similar to Microsoft Power Point.
Google Sheets is the app to use to create spreadsheets, charts, and graphs. It is similar to Microsoft Excel.
Google Meet is the video conferencing app. It is similar to Zoom or WebEx video conferencing. Teachers may use this app for live remote teaching.
Google Mail (or GMail) is the student's school email account. This email address is used to log in to access any of the Google for Education apps. Teachers will also correspond with students through their GMail account.
