Cloud Computing and Security

In this module, you will create a proposal detailing appropriate procedures and processes specific to your postsecondary institution. This proposal will detail how security of data will be ensured and maintained.

3.1 Detect how breaches can occur within an institution’s data systems.

3.2 Evaluate strategies to protect confidential data within the postsecondary environment.

3.3 Create a formal proposal to disseminate to institutional stakeholders and staff related to cybersecurity.

Module Three Activities:

Assignment #1: Create a Proposal on Institutional Data Security (4 hours) (LO 3.1-3.3)

Write a proposal detailing appropriate procedures and processes specific to their institution (Google Drive) on how security of data will be ensured and maintained. The intention of this proposal is to disseminate to appropriate stakeholders and staff. In this activity, the workshop participant will also provide/ remove access with this document to demonstrate cybersecurity using G Suite programs.
