Career Overview
Hien Bui received her B.S. in Physics from the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, in 2010 and a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Science from National Central University (NCU) and Academia Sinica (TIGP-ESS) in Taiwan in 2016. Hien was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the NCU in 2017 and at Colorado State University (USA) from 2018-2020. She was then an Assistant Research Fellow at the IBS Center for Climate Physics (Busan, South Korea) in 2021, and a Research Fellow at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia) from 2022-2024. Hien joined the NCU Department of Atmospheric Sciences as an Assistant Professor in February 2025.
