HideMate Calculator (“the app”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a calculator-style privacy application designed to help users securely store personal photos, videos, audio files, and documents on their own device. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles information and permissions.
HideMate Calculator does not sell personal information or publicly share private vault content.
The app primarily works locally on the user's device. Files selected by the user are processed locally for vault storage, backup, restore, and media management features.
If Google services such as Firebase Crashlytics are enabled, anonymous crash diagnostics and limited technical information may be collected to improve app performance and stability.
The app may request the following permissions depending on the features used:
• Photos and Videos Permission – Used to import and manage user-selected media inside the vault.
• Files and Storage Permission – Used for backup, restore, export, and file management features.
• Camera Permission – Used only when the user chooses to capture photos or videos inside the app.
• Notification Permission – Used for important app notifications related to backup or restore operations.
• Internet Access – Used for optional Google Drive backup and restore functionality and related Google services.
If the user enables Google Drive backup, selected backup files may be uploaded to the user's own Google Drive account.
Google account access is used only for backup and restore functionality requested by the user.
We do not access, read, or share personal Google Drive content unrelated to app backups.
Vault content is primarily stored locally on the user's device.
The app does not upload personal vault files to external servers controlled by us.
Backup or restore operations are performed only when initiated by the user.
The app uses local security methods such as PIN/password protection and encrypted storage mechanisms where applicable to help protect user content.
The app may use trusted third-party services including:
• Google Play Services
• Firebase Crashlytics
• Google Authentication Services
• Google Drive APIs
These services may collect limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.
This app is not intended for children under the age of 13.
