Effective Date: July 2, 2026
Hide LinkedIn Promoted & Suggested Posts ("the Extension") is designed to improve your LinkedIn browsing experience by hiding selected types of posts from your feed. Your privacy is important, and this Extension has been built to minimize data access and collection.
The Extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information.
Specifically, the Extension does not:
Collect your LinkedIn profile information
Collect your browsing history
Track your activity
Use analytics or telemetry
Send data to external servers
Share information with third parties
The Extension runs only within LinkedIn pages in your browser.
It examines the page content locally to identify posts that match the categories you have chosen to hide (such as Suggested, Sponsored, Promoted, or other configurable feed recommendations). Matching posts are hidden from view by modifying the page displayed in your browser.
All processing occurs entirely on your device. No page content or personal information leaves your browser.
The Extension uses Chrome's local storage (chrome.storage) solely to save your settings and preferences, such as which types of posts you want to hide.
These preferences remain stored locally in your browser (or within your Chrome profile if Chrome sync is enabled). They are never transmitted to the developer or any third party.
The Extension requests only the permissions required to perform its intended function:
storage — Used to save your extension settings and preferences.
scripting — Used to modify LinkedIn pages by hiding selected posts.
The Extension only operates on LinkedIn pages and does not interact with other websites.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the Extension's functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected by revising the effective date at the top of this document.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or the Extension, please contact the developer using the contact information provided on the Chrome Web Store listing.
