Hi! We are Honu Lodge, formerly known as Hide In.

We welcome you to our safe space.

We only have four shack and can only fit 2pax per shack. We limit the guests who can check in with us.

Our space is not a 5-star resort, it is one of those remaining establishment in Liwliwa that still doesn’t grasp modernization and still offers natural ambience, expect nature experience as we adapt to changing seasons in Liwa.

When it rains, the area will be muddy and wet and some puddle of water occurs.

When it’s summer, expect a high humidity, warm ambiance. We do not offer ac shacks.

From December to February expect a breezy and chill weather especially from midnight til dawn.

Expect fallen leaves, pieces of branches. Expect birds chirping in the morning and insects that beeps in the night. Expect a sea-salt smell coming from the river that connects to the sea.

We have neighboring resort that can be very loud when they have guests, this is mostly on weekends. Please expect a videoke around afternoon til late midnight. Curfew in Liwliwa starts 10pm to 12 midnight. We will make it sure to inform our neighboring resort to keep their noise down so you can still have a peaceful rest if they go beyond the curfew time.

We have dogs and a cat and we treat them as our children. Please, if you can’t be kind to them, don’t be cruel. They don’t bite, they just bark, as most of the dogs do. We will give instructions on how to deal with them when you check-in.

We have limited man-power, we appreciate if you can relay to us your needs once you arrive. We are not available 24/7 as we have other work as well. Let’s communicate better beforehand to avoid misunderstanding especially during your stay.
