This comprehensive biography from the website of Hideaki Anno’s studio, Khara, outlines his life with its most important components. This article was incredibly useful when piecing together the timeline section and provided much-needed details to reinforce many parts of this learning centre. It is also a primary source making it very credible.

Hideaki Anno’s comprehensive Wikipedia page provided a jumping-off point for most of my research. When I read something interesting I would investigate the source or delve into other articles on the subject. This section also provides more unbiased details on his life than the Khara blog as it is not trying to be flattering.

Using this video I was able to incorporate Anno’s voice and humour into the introduction and eminence paragraphs. Additionally, it provides details into Hideaki Anno’s childhood and his perspective on the legacy of his work.
