Welcome to my webpage! I am currently a FNRS Postdoc in the field of Calculus of Variations and Partial Differential Equations. I am part of the research group of Heiner Olbermann at the Research Institute in Mathematics and Physics of UCLouvain
I completed my PhD at KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt with Carolin Kreisbeck, and previously held a FWF postdoc position at TU Wien with Elisa Davoli
I am interested in analyzing mathematical problems motivated by applications, such as materials science and image processing, especially using tools from calculus of variations and partial differential equations. Some specific aspects include:
Nonlocal variational problems (Existence results, Lower semicontinuity, Relaxation)
Asymptotic analysis of variational problems via Γ-convergence (Homogenization, Nonlocal-to-local limits, Dimension reduction, Discrete-to-Continuum limits)
Analysis of nonlocal function spaces (Poincaré inqualities for nonlocal gradients, Compact embeddings, Nonlocal BV-functions)
