What a joy to gather with these amazing friends for a morning of prayer, laughter, and digging into God’s Word together! Surrounded by books and hearts full of faith, we were reminded of Matthew 6:21—“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of friendship and the treasure of Your Word that continues to guide and strengthen us.

Jesus speaks tenderly to His followers. My little group of disciples, don’t be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give the money to the poor. Make yourselves moneybags that never wear out. Make sure your treasure is safe in heaven, where thieves cannot steal it and moths cannot destroy it. Your heart will always be where your treasure is. — Luke 12:32–34
Before asking us to give, Jesus reminds us of the heart of the Father: a generous King who wants to give us His kingdom. We don’t have to cling to temporary possessions when the eternal treasure of heaven is already promised. Our culture urges us to gather, store, and protect. But Christ invites us to release and invest—to give generously, to care for the poor, to hold loosely the things of earth. The “moneybags that never wear out” aren’t bank accounts or storage sheds; they are acts of compassion, obedience, and worship that outlast time itself. Hidden Treasures Ministries carries this same heartbeat. Matthew 6:21 declares, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” When we give to those in need—whether food, conversation, or friendship—we deposit treasure into heaven’s account. Each act of kindness echoes into eternity.
Examine Your Treasure – Where does your mind wander when you think of security or success? Is your heart anchored in possessions or in God’s promises?
Practice Generous Release – Ask the Lord to show one tangible way you can give—time, resources, forgiveness, or encouragement.
Trust the Father’s Kingdom – Remember: God is not reluctant. He wants to give you the kingdom. You can release earthly worries because He has already secured your eternal inheritance.
Father, thank You for the promise of Your kingdom. Teach me to hold my possessions with open hands and to invest in treasures that last forever. Free my heart from fear and fill me with Your generosity, so that my life points others to You. Amen.
Saturday morning at Hidden Treasures Bible Study was extra delicious thanks to our friend Cyndi and her amazing homemade lasagna! She’s such a talented cook she doesn’t even need a recipe card—and maybe that little bit of Italian heritage gives her an extra edge. Thank you, Cyndi, for sharing your gift (and your secret family skills) with all of us. Every bite was a blessing!

Our sweet friend Jennie B showed up to Hidden Treasures Bible Study with a tray full of homemade Korean potato pancakes—made with love and a little help from her daughter Sophia!
Every single one disappeared in minutes, but the real treat was Jennie’s fun, giving heart. She shines the love of Jesus by sharing her gifts (and delicious recipes!) with all of us.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10

This year, Hidden Treasures Publishing, Broadcasting & Journalism (HTPBJ) is issuing a special challenge to women everywhere:
Write, Broadcast, and Journal on the theme “Prepare The Way.”
As we look toward the rapture of the Church and the soon return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, we feel an urgent call to share the message of hope and salvation. Through stories, devotionals, broadcasts, and personal reflections, we invite women to use their voices to encourage family and friends—both locally and around the world—to prepare their hearts for His coming.
All submissions for Prepare The Way must be in by October 13, 2025. The sooner the better.
Marcia Fowler will begin hosting all 2nd Saturday meetings at Abundant Rain at 9 am. We look forward to seeing everyone.
We are meeting in various places on Route 66 for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Please call the office to let us know your schedule, if you are available to meet this week.
We returned from our mission trip to Egypt. Now we prepare to send food through our Joseph House International Food Relief Program, we are believing for divine appointments and opportunities to share God’s love in powerful ways. Please join us in prayer as we serve, connect, and bring hope to those in need.
