PRESS RELEASE

HIDDEN PHASE RELEASED "ENDLESS NIGHT", THE FIRST SINGLE FROM THE UPCOMING EP "NIHIL OBSTAT"

French duo Hidden Phase announces the release of "Endless Night", their debut single and official music video, available since on October 2, 2026. This track introduces Nihil Obstat, a four-track EP scheduled for December 4.

Founded in 2017, Hidden Phase focuses entirely on studio work and visual production, bypassing traditional live touring circuits. The project develops a sound identity at the crossroads of alternative rock, atmospheric metal, and progressive nuances, approaching each release as a global project combining music and imagery.

This direction takes shape with "Endless Night", the first excerpt from the upcoming EP Nihil Obstat. The band summarizes its core theme:

"With this first single, we wanted to talk about that exhausting loop of insomnia. 'Endless Night' is a dive into the frustration of a mind that refuses to shut down, where your body is completely drained but you're still trapped awake. It’s an immersive track about those dark hours, capturing the daily struggle of feeling like a slave to the night and just trying to survive those sleepless nights."

The single is accompanied by an official music video premiered on YouTube on October 2, 2026.

The EP Nihil Obstat (4 tracks, each featuring its own music video) will be released on December 4, 2026. Exclusive pre-orders are now open on Bandcamp.

PRESS & REVIEWS (FIRST ALBUM : "THE DEVIANT PLACE THEORY")

• GigRadar (UK):
"An atmospheric alternative progressive rock/metal duo draped in mystery [...], fusing engaging vocals with huge atmospheric instrumentals and strong visual storytelling focused on raw emotion."

• Epitome Of Epic (UK):
"Atmospheric alternative rock wrapped in an air of mystery [...]. 'Sell Your World' blends dark string arrangements and heavy, melancholic riffage with an emotional vocal performance. The atmospheric quality is outstanding, matched by a gritty Gothic horror video with fantastic production value."

• Rock Out Stand Out (UK) — 8/10:
"A gentle and melancholic album but it can pack a punch... They do dark and twisted very well."

• Loud Enough (UK):
"Eight tracks of expressive, atmospheric music that is emotionally heavy yet calm and easy on the ear [...], combining progressive elements with heartfelt singing and rich soundscapes."

• Noise Pollution (UK):
"A delicate work, accentuated by a sensitive voice and a dreamy musical vision... Surely a name to keep in mind.

• Albacore (FR):

• Music In Belgium (FR):
"An alternative missile in the French rock scene [...] carrying both atmospheric and heavy passages to achieve an alternative rock respectful of Underground codes."

• Zickma (FR):
