James graduated from William Paterson University in 2001, earning a BA in Communications with a concentration in Production and Direction of Stage and Media. But it was his life-long interest in computers and technology that led him to a full-time job at the university. First, as the Director of the Language Lab for the College of Humanities and most recently as the Director of Digital Learning and Outreach. In 2009, he and his wife created their own theater company, Fuzzy Pug Productions. He works as a theatrical director with various school districts, townships, and community theater programs on their musical productions.
Kelly has been involved in archaeological research since 2005. She earned her PhD at the University of South Carolina in Anthropology, with a concentration on historical archaeology. Her research has focused on African Diaspora archaeological sites in west Africa and National Park Service sites in the eastern United States, where she has investigated topics of culture contact, transnationalism, and memorialization and heritage. She is passionate about history and teaching, and is always interested in following the complex and twisted lines of the past.
