Hello! My name is Luna, and to tell you a little bit about my motivations towards Hidden Barriers, I would like to start by explaining my journey.  As the daughter of an immigrant family, I know firsthand how difficult it can be for immigrants themselves to attain the resources they need, and when considering immigrant high school students, I began to think about how so many financial aid applications and academic opportunities require you to be documented. This prevents so many undocumented students from moving forward with their education or applying to prestigous institutions . To combat this prevalent issue, I founded Hidden Barriers. Too often do valuable opportunities remain out of reach simply because people don’t know where to find them or where to begin.

My goal for Hidden Barriers is to help important information, resources, and opportunities be accessible to as many people as possible. I hope this platform encourages you to believe in your potential and reminds you that your circumstances do not define your future.
