He is an Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina Department of Statistics. His research focuses on developing novel methodologies for datasets with complex dependence and big data, such as Spatio-temporal and spatial data. He develops computationally scalable statistical approaches that capture the essence of data and address both theoretical and computational challenges. He collaborates closely with researchers from different disciplines worldwide in various multidisciplinary research and consultation projects
Dr. Iman Tahamtan
He holds a Ph.D. in Communication and Information from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (UTK). He is a UX lecturer at UTK. His research interests include Research Impact, Human-Computer Interaction, Social Media, and Digital Health.
She is a Ph.D. student in the School of Information Science at the University of South Carolina. Her research examines the social and structural factors that shape users’ interactions with mental health information and explores how users navigate these factors through emerging information and communication technologies
Jake is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Carolina, Department of Statistics. He was a member of the CQAM Lab at the University of Toronto in 2019, focusing on using Machine Learning methods to solve industry financial problems. He is interested in applying advanced statistics in different domains, including information science, finance, economy, and computer science.
