The career that I chose is nursing because I love helping people and want to give back to my community. I have always felt a strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others, and nursing is the perfect profession to fulfill that calling. I have also always been interested in hospitals, blood, and needles—not because they scare me, but because I enjoy the excitement and the opportunity to care for others. The fast-paced environment of a hospital and the ability to respond to emergencies fascinate me, and I thrive under pressure. My biggest motivation for entering nursing, though, comes from my mom and big sister. Growing up, I watched my mother work tirelessly to support our family, and her compassion has always been a guiding light for me. Seeing my sister pursue her dream to become a doctor inspired me to choose a related path, and I want to make my family proud by succeeding in nursing. Their dedication to their own careers has shown me the value of hard work, perseverance, and selflessness. That is why I take school so seriously and hope to become a TTRN. I am determined to continue learning and growing, not only for myself but for the patients I will one day serve. I know that the journey to becoming a nurse will be challenging, but I am prepared to face those challenges with determination and an open heart. Nursing is more than just a job to me—it is a calling, a way to make a meaningful impact every day. I look forward to the day when I can help patients and their families through difficult times, offering comfort, support, and skilled care.

I'm also taking CCM so I can experience what it's like to be a nurse. By participating in this program, I am gaining valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and rewards of the nursing profession. I chose CCMA and nursing classes because I enjoy developing my math and science skills, and nursing involves both subjects. These courses challenge me academically and allow me to apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations, which is both exciting and rewarding. My main motivation is helping people—I feel happy when others are happy, and I want to do what I love for as long as I can. Being able to make a difference in someone's life, no matter how small, gives me a sense of fulfillment and purpose. I look forward to continuing my education and eventually working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals who share my passion for caring for others. Ultimately, I hope to become a compassionate and skilled nurse who can positively impact patients and their families every day.

My classes have been a profound journey in understanding the essence of teamwork and the importance of collaboration, even with individuals I may not particularly like. They emphasize the value of mutual respect and the skills necessary to navigate diverse personalities. Additionally, my job experience has been invaluable, teaching me the significance of diligence and the art of saving money. It opened my eyes to the complexities of earning a living independently, highlighting the effort and perseverance required to attain financial freedom. Each lesson learned has reinforced the idea that hard work and effective communication are foundational to both personal and professional success. 

I'm excited to be heading to college to pursue a degree in nursing, aiming for a rewarding and fulfilling career. The thought of joining the military has crossed my mind, especially since my family has a strong military background, but I'm feeling uncertain about that path. Honestly, I'm not convinced that community college is the right choice for me; I doubt they even offer a nursing program that aligns with my goals. Instead, I'm thrilled about my decision to enroll at a university specifically for nursing. I feel that this is the best step toward achieving my aspirations. Although I’m set to graduate early and will be taking a year off to prepare for this next chapter, I'm leaning away from the military. Even though I have access to some benefits due to my family's service, the idea of balancing both military obligations and college studies seems overwhelming. I want to focus entirely on my education without the pressure of juggling both responsibilities.

My commitment to the community will have a profound impact as I dedicate myself to giving back and supporting those in need. By becoming a compassionate and skilled nurse, I will contribute positively to society. My role will not only involve providing medical care but also offering emotional support and comfort to patients and their families. I believe that by being an exceptional nurse, I can play a crucial part in improving the lives of individuals and fostering a sense of hope and healing in the community. those around me through my profession.
