I am an associate professor of Economics in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah.
My research interests include: Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, structural econometrics of adverse-selection, market design (including auctions and nonlinear incentive design), human capital, and applied microeconomic theory. The unifying theme in all that is a research focus on unobserved heterogeneity: how decision-makers' unseen traits influence choices, selection patterns, and economic outcomes.
