I have got a lot of tasks entered in a lot of different notes, but in the Android app many of them do not appear in the tasks menu and in the notes were they were entered. The task lists are empty on those pages, even though on the web and on the desktop app they are filled with items like I have done. I uninstalled and installed the app again to check wether it's an error within the app database, but it happened again. The evernote app version is 10.29 (1121520), the latest as of now.

Did you just experience the issue (missing tasks) with the new 10.29 or also with prior versions? I observed, that the tasks for task view are loaded/synced separately from the notes meta data when the client updates (they show up at a different point of time which I could follow visually because of the slow interface). Maybe there is a partial sync issue. (Btw: I ran into increasing syncing issues with 10.29 on my devices and had to revert to 10.28 which solved it)

The demands of my office require that our staff use regular checklist tasks. Is there a way to select multiple tasks simultaneously to bulk assign tasks to a team member or to add a project to multiple tasks simultaneously? I am really only going to be able to access Asana via the app, and without this capability it takes absurdly long to do anything in Asana.

For instance, if I make a project with 30 tasks and then later need to add an additional project to those tasks, I can only do so by going into each task one-by-one and adding the additional project. This is insanely tedious.

Just ditched my computer for an iPad Pro and my only regret is lack of functionality in Asana. I have a payments validation project which after reviewing quickly task by task, in the desktop version i can select all the tasks > change the custom filed status > assign to the right person. In mobile is a pain to assign and change the field task by task. Talking about 40 tasks every beginning of the week

I'm really dependent on Google Calendar still. As someone who's always struggled to be organised, he feature I'm finding hard to give up is the integration of tasks into the calendar (where those tasks have had deadlines set for them).

Nextcloud does this in its own web GUI, too. The problem I'm having at the moment is that none of the better FOSS calendar apps for Android (Etar, Simple Calendar) show tasks, even where Davx5 is installed and all tasks are synced.

Would I be right in suspecting that this is a limitation of CalDAV? "Select calendars to sync" in Simple Calendar (and similar interfaces in Etar/Google Calendar) only show an option to sync my "Personal" calendar from Nextcloud; no mention of tasks

I have been working on an android app and recently set up Jenkins on Google Cloud (Ubuntu 16.04) to make builds. When I run gradlew tasks on my local machine(Mac) it shows a lot more tasks than what I see when I run the same command on the Ubuntu instance.

A unique feature of the Tasks app how it displays tasks and information associated with them in rows and columns. I am trying to do the update of the Sonar Gradle plugin from a version 3.0 to version 3.5.0.2730 on a legacy branch (that we still supporting, in maintenance mode). On this legacy branch we are using com.android.application version 4.1.3.

We have noticed a bug in the latest release of Sonar Gradle plugin (3.5.0.2730), where the android version 4.1.3 (among others) is not supported correctly.

deckoff hinted at this in his answer, and I've been trying it out myself for a bit now. So I should probably add it here. There is a GTasks indicator available in a third party PPA, google-tasks-indicator.

I will simply go with Gtask chrome app for desktop and Gtasks in Android (though many different will do). Best way to do anything on Android is to do it via Google services -IMHO. If you still insist on desktop app, not in-browser app, look here , here, or here

As a long time Joplin user, I would love to know what folks in here use for tasks/todos. I like the simplicity and cross-platform availability of Joplin (also full marks for open source), but I'm yet to find a todo app (maybe todoist) that hits the sweet spot for me in terms of visual appeal and minimal features - is there even one? Or should I be improving my workflow instead of looking for the perfect app?

If you're interested in Simpletask, it might be easier to check the Github page (GitHub - mpcjanssen/simpletask-android) or F-Droid, since not all versions are available in Playstore. I think I got the Dropbox version directly from his own webpage master.

I've been using for many years now. It can be simple but powerful with it's options to make tasks or subtasks recur or remind you. The design is pretty optimal- there's even some markdown support and you have a lot of sync options.
