What is the purpose of this NRI ？
The NRI is designed to encourage innovation in the field of Hybrid Intelligence, providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their talents, gain recognition, and potentially win prizes in a competition mode. Additionally, it aims to promote the society impact of the Profi 7 programe of Hybrid Intelligence at the Univeristy of Oulu.

The competition is open to students and staff from the University of Oulu only.

No, there is a no fee required to participate.

Yes. Each team member must meet the eligibility requirements and they will share the awards.

You are allowed to submit multiple entries.
Can I participate in the HRI if I was already awarded last year？
Can I participate in the HRI if I was already awarded last year？
Yes. You can submit a brand new proposal, or you can apply to extend your previous proposal with sufficient reasons. But we will prior new proposal ideas.

Awards of up to €20,000 are available for each of the four thematic areas.
