For us, innovation is a way of life - the ability to identify challenges and invent creative solutions. We believe that everyone is an entrepreneur at heart, with the ability to generate ideas which will positively impact the world we live in.
ASPER HUJI Innovate was started to be the place where these innate abilities can come to fruition. As community members, you’ll receive updates and information regarding unique opportunities in the world of innovation, create new friendships with other entrepreneurial students and enjoy events with pioneering founders and investors.
Our community strives to provide entrepreneurial tools and skills by promoting an innovative culture, holding innovation workshops, developing innovation events and running competitions and programs that enable participants to experience innovation processes first-hand. Put together, these activities create a conjunction point between the worlds of academy and innovation for our community members.

The Asper Prize
The Asper Prize
The Asper Prize is a startup competition that celebrates startups that utilize innovative technologies with the aim of creating a positive impact on a global scale. The annual competition is open to Hebrew University-associated founders (alumni, faculty, students or startups utilizing University IP).
The winning startup will receive a 100,000 ILS cash prize (equity free) and be named The Hebrew University Rising Startup of the Year.

Startup Sunday
The Hebrew University’s innovation community leads the Startup Sunday series of events. By joining one of the events - held every Sunday - you could learn from industry experts who will review innovation in fields such as medicine, agriculture, environment, government, IT and more. In addition, you could hear experienced entrepreneurs share their unique methodologies and tips for entrepreneurial success.
Startup Sundays will commence November 2020.

Mobileye, ExLibris, Future Meat, Briefcam, Pepticom, Sol-Gel Technologies and Qlight Nanotech were all started by researchers from The Hebrew University. Join us on Monday, January 13th at 18:00 to learn how you can take your research and turn it into a startup.
At the event, Prof. Shlomo Magdassi - researcher and entrepreneur will share his personal experience in converting academic research into commercial products. In addition, you will learn more about offerings from HUJI Innovate and Cornell Tech that run programs for Master’s, Ph.D. and postdoctoral students looking to develop a startup that solves real-world problems. Join us for a night of information and inspiration to learn about the opportunities and possibilities these programs offer.
