ADD I is a comprehensive introduction to mechanical technical drawing. It is intended to give the student a solid grasp of basic techniques in Engineering graphics. Students will utilize essential drafting equipment and AutoCAD software to produce workable drawings and learn how to create 3D geometry suitable for 3D printing. ADDII prepares students for careers in architecture and related industries and advance study in Architecture programs. Participants use AutoCAD and Revit to design and draw floor plans, elevations, foundations, and sections. Students in year 2 will have an opportunity to earn an Autodesk Certified User national certification. Dual enrollment coursework is available.
