The Selection Committee will consist of seven people.
To be eligible for the committee, applicants must be a former Holliston athlete, former or current coach, former administrator or athletic personnel, or Holliston resident of at least twenty years. Current parents of Holliston students are ineligible. The current athletic director will not be eligible to be on the committee, but will serve as a liaison between the committee, the school, and the community.
The committee seeks to have at least three active coaches/faculty members serve on the committee at any given time. This is important for keeping the Hall of Fame linked to the current life of the school. The initial committee will consist of the three founding members who will then select the additional five members of the committee from a pool of blind resumes.
Committee members will serve a term of three years, but this will be staggered some for the initial committee so as to not have overwhelming turnover of the committee at any time. Going forward, new committee members will be voted on by existing committee members based on the blind resume process. Committee members whose term expires are eligible to run again after a break of at least one year.
