Adams-12 Policy for Lightning
If lightning is within 10 miles we need to clear athletes from the fields. This means:
Players and Coaches from both teams must be in a safe area.
Inside a GROUNDED building: that means it has both electricity and water running to it.
Inside the bus or car with windows up
Do not sit in a storage shed or dugout, those do not count as grounded building
Games or Practice are suspended for 30mins from last strike
If you have waited 20mins and another strike happens with in that 7 mile radius the 30min clock starts over.
However this will tell you when you're all clear so you won't have to worry about keep track of time or strikes
