There's many forms, but in this space I offer emotional support and a safe container for exploring individual and collective care. Peer support is not therapy, but many find it therapeutic.
~anyone seeking accessible emotional support outside of traditional hierarchical systems. I am not a therapist, do not have a license, and am intentionally not a mandated reporter. This work is great for folks who feel alienated by traditional mental health services for any reason, or folks who want to practice mutual care without the power structures inherent in doctor-patient relationships. It can be for folks who don’t have insurance and can’t afford high out-of-pocket costs. It can also be for anyone feeling lonely or isolated and wanting some kind of safe connection.
