Task 1: The design and use of market research in a local enterprises

  • how each enterprise conducts its market research, for example:

o the types of primary research used

o the sources of secondary research used

o the qualitative and quantitative data collected.

o meets its customers' needs (convenient location, effective and fair pricing, diverse product portfolio, good quality products, effective customer service and specific market segment)

o Understands competitor behaviour (densifying competitors,​ main features making products competitive:​ price, quality (already covered), availability and unique selling point (USP)
