“DTH” is pronounced like the TH in “THe”, “TH” is pronounced like the TH in “THat”, "DJ" is pronounced like the J in "Jake", and "NG" is pronounced like the NG in "siNG".
Every character in Fatange is pronounced consonant first, vowel second for every character its consonant is written on the bottom and vowel on top.
vowels are usually short vowels.
You might notice that vertical lines are only on the left side of characters, this allows characters to be placed right next to each other while still being distinguishable from each other.
Fatange can be written left to right, top to bottom, or bottom to top, left to right.
Interjections can be made by rotating the vowel 180 degrees and putting it at the bottom on a consonant indicating that the vowel is pronounced first.
It is written with the consonant before and vowel and a space between characters as seen bellow
these can be placed anywhere including inside of and next to words
he: refers to the party speaking
hi: refers to the party being spoken to
ho: refers to a party outside the conversation
hu: a simple negation preposition
Anything after 1st character is root words, but unlike Esperanto or Latan you can have multiple root words in a word.
if a word is only one character long it is always a root word
pa and pe are used to combine ideas into one more complex idea it’s like the + symbol. Now we need to talk about levels, you can think of pa and pe as something like a base 2 counting system like how after you count past 9 you start from the beginning again but with a 1 in front. Here pa = 1 and pe = 2 and after pe you start over again but with pa in front so papa, pape, pepa, pepe and so on, that’s their level. pa and pe combine the words around them until they reach a pa/pe a level higher than them.
It's literal translation is
Here "I thought" and "adjective" are combined first so that the past act of me thinking becomes a modifier of "you thought" so in English it would be "I thought you thought"
if we swap pa and pe like bellow
It completely changes the meaning of the phrase, witch here would mean "you thought I thought".
Pi and po are similar to pa and pe, its another base base 2 counting system where pi = 1 and po = 2. They are used every couple of root words to add new root words, you can think of pi and po as something like the “next” button on a website or calculator.
I do not own Fatange but I do recommend that root words are only created when something can not be described with current words, and that these new root words should be broad and elemental.
