Volunteer Angel Point Contest Terms and Conditions:
Volunteer Angel Points Contest
*Sponsored by Home and School Association
The Home and School Association would like a chance to reward our hardest working volunteers! This contest will give your family a chance to win a $500 tuition credit!
Rules and Guidelines:
Families must earn the minimum requirement of 20 VAP points for the current school year as part of the registration/tuition agreement. As part of this agreement, families are required to complete 3 Special School Event Angel Points during one of our key fundraisers: FUN RUN or Tricky Tray or as a chair, committee member or coach. The purpose of the Angel Point requirement is to have parents and extended family members assist with on-site events and activities. Please note, most Volunteer Angel Point opportunities require Holy Family Clearances (with some exceptions). We encourage and expect our families to volunteer to help and it is also beneficial for your children to see their family actively involved at Holy Family School.
Families will qualify for (1) entry with every additional block of 20 VAPs over the minimum.
Example:
20 VAP = Minimum
40 VAP = 1 Entry
60 VAP = 2 Entries
Families will be responsible for signing in and out of events and volunteer opportunities.
There is no limit to the number of entries you can receive, the more VAP points earned, the more chances to win!
Families that decide to opt out monetarily ($400) of their VAPs and donate funds to Trick Tray will receive 1 entry. If interested in donating your VAP funds to Tricky Tray, please email the Home and School Treasurer, Megan Lerch at treasurerhfhsa@gmail.com
VAP opportunities include, but are not limited to: Lunch Duty, BookFair, Santa Shop, Special Events hosted by Home and School and HFS. Open opportunities will be advertised weekly in the Enewsletter.
All submissions for angel points must be done according to the VAP guidelines.
After the event/fundraiser, you must submit your hours to the event Chair (completion of HFS VAP Tracking System). The event Chair must enter VAP points for Volunteers on the VAP entry sheet and submit to the Angel Point coordinator. This must be done within 36 hours of your event.
When volunteering at school, please make sure that you complete the VAP log in the office so your hours can be submitted to the Angel Point coordinator.
Any disputed angel points must be resolved by the Angel Point Coordinator and the business office prior to the drawing.
Tuition prize cannot be claimed for cash.
Certain Home and School Board & Chair positions will earn an allotted number of entries. *Those members will be notified. As some year round positions require extensive involvement.
