Q: When did the Fun Run start?

A: The Fun Run has been our school’s largest fundraiser for over 20 years!  Throughout the years there have been some changes. The fundraiser has changed from the name of “Race for Ed" where students would ask family and friends to sponsor them to run laps around the field to a cash calendar raffle giving ticket holders a chance to win a cash prize.  Rather than run laps, the students now walk in Nazareth the event day and show off their school pride.

Q: What is Fun Run for Holy Family?

A: Fun Run for Holy Family is our school’s largest fundraiser of the year!  Each student is required to sell at least 10 cash calendar raffle tickets at $10 each. There are prizes for selling over 10 tickets. 

Q: What is a cash calendar raffle?

A:  A cash calendar raffle is a $10 ticket that has a winning amount each day of the month.  During the month of November, a winner is pulled daily for a cash prize of $50 to $500.  Winning tickets are placed back into the raffle giving multiple chances to win!  

Q: When is Fun Run for Holy Family? 

A:  A student packet will be distributed at the Welcome Back Party.  Students will sell their tickets leading up to the Fun Run on Friday, October 17, 2025. In the event of inclement weather, the walk will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd but the awards assembly and fun activities will take place in the gym on Friday, October 17th.

Q: Do I need to complete any forms for my child?

A: Yes, there is one form that needs to be completed.

• Please complete the Ticket Receipt Confirmation/Permission to Walk form to acknowledge receiving tickets and permission to participate on the day of Fun Run.  One form must be completed for each student by Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Q: What are the family prizes this year?

A: There will be three Family prizes awarded this year to the top three selling families.

• 1st Place - 1 night stay for 4 at Kalahari, which includes admission to the waterpark on the day of check in and the day of checkout

• 2nd Place - 6 day passes to Kalahari

• 3rd Place - $100 gift card for Red Robin

Q: How do I receive extra tickets?

Q: Are there sponsorship opportunities?

A: Yes, there is a sponsor t-shirt.  Participating companies will have their name/company on the back of an HFS sponsor t-shirt.  This shirt will be given to each student who sells 15 or more Fun Run tickets. 

Q: Can I help during the day of the Fun Run?
