About Me

Education

I have been an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Dickinson College since 2014. In 2014-2015, I was a Project NExT Fellow (gold14 dot). Before coming to Dickinson, I spent one year (2013-2014) as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Williams College. I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst under the direction of Paul E. Gunnells in 2013. For the spring 2013 semester, I was a graduate research fellow at ICERM. I completed my B.A. in mathematics (minor in English) magna cum laude at the University of Vermont in 2007 (Go Cats Go!).

A few of my favorite places:

I live near the Appalachian Trail and enjoy walking and hiking the local trails. I run recreationally. In grad school I rocked climbed a bunch and before that I used to snowboard quite a bit - I still do these things when I have time. In the summer, I like to kayak on the Susquehanna, Conodoguinet, and Yellow Breaches.
