Human Factors and Ergonomics at University of Virginia is a student chapter of the larger International Human Factors and Ergonomics Society focusing on the science of designing, testing, and creating systems and technologies considering people first. The student chapter focuses on creating place for interested students to gather and share their research and knowledge. We also work to promote the field of human factors within and outside of the university. Typical majors that join this group are systems engineering, mechanical engineering, psychology, public health, computer science and more!

We kindly ask any alumni or interested parties to consider donating to our student chapter. All donated funds will be used to expand the number and variety of events, invite premier guest speakers and experts in the field to talk at UVA, and create a library of resources for UVA students and faculty to access. More on these goals can be found here.
