The judges for the upcoming Annual Highfalls Fiddlers’ Convention on Saturday, April 6th, will be Danny and Eva Casstevens from Mocksville, NC, and award-winning vocalist Caroline Owens.
Danny and Eva both are multi-instrumentalists with Danny playing practically all stringed instruments. He is an award-winning guitarist, and he teaches guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and Scruggs style banjo at The Guitar Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Eva is an avid mandolin player who is currently into collecting short-scale guitars (00 and 000 sizes). Caroline Owens has had an extremely successful career travelling and sharing her love of music.

Mark Dillon, originally from Indiana but now residing on Pole Cat Creek near Randleman, has a PhD in music education and is a multi-instrumentalist as well. He teaches commercial music at Guilford Technical Community College and songwriting at UNC-Greensboro. Mark plays guitar and banjo with the old-time string band The Zinc Kings.
