OUT OF SERVICE. The online documents archival system for all DOH issuances has been out of service since Monday, February 19. Apologies for not being able to timely provide this section on the Latest LD Opportunities for Week 07 (February 11 to 17, 2024).
We shall revise this page once the system storing Department Circulars of LD opportunities has resumed. Thank you.
NEW SECTION. As part of the HFDB LDMS operations area for improvement, we shall be opening a new section in this newsletter to be featured at least once monthly.
This section will publish the Department Personnel Orders issued in a month that authorized HFDB personnel and staff for attendance to LDIs and/or updates. This is intended to facilitate concerned learners' workplace-based applications of knowledge and skills gained from LDIs attended.
As of this issue, all HFDB personnel and staff will have received their learning and development needs self-assessment tally sheets, and all divisions and units have received their annual learning and development plan templates.
Please coordinate closely with your Alternate LDOs in the divisions and units so that the Bureau will be able to meet our internal deadline, Friday, February 23, 2024.
The Bureau will submit its consolidated LDNA report of results and the annual LD plan to the HHRDB on March 8, 2024, Friday.

With the issues revolving antimicrobial resistance, how do you think the DOH should respond and strategize to get rid of its potential adverse effects in the near future? In USA, scientists at the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital developed an innovative technique modifying antibiotic's structure to overcome antibiotic resistance.
