10. Collections to Keep in Mind
Designated Offering Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is marking the 100th anniversary of the first Mass celebrated within it. Archbishop Broglio has requested that each installation plan to designate an offering for the Shrine on some weekend in 2025. The donations will assist in defraying the cost of the Shrine Infrastructure Renewal Project. Checks or transfers can be sent to the AMS, provided that it is clearly indicated that the sum represents the designated offering for the Shrine.
Designated Offering for MCCW, a request from Archbishop Broglio
The Military Council of Catholic Women, (MCCW) is a 501.c.3 affiliated with the Archdiocese of the Military Services, USA, and sponsors many opportunities for the on-going formation of women in the military. It is important to support their activities with some funding from installations. Archbishop Broglio asks, as you are planning for the designated offerings during the 2025 pastoral year, that you include one for the MCCW. Kindly send the fruit of this offering directly to the MCCW, P.O. Box 4456, Washington, D.C. 20017, or online at https://go.milarch.org/e/1008752/support-/4jmjcy/313135063/h/ye2w7cB4pGsJEbb_90AB1MHq-lWT6N891M8ujq7J5CQ Thank you for your consideration and generosity.
