The Cellar
The Cellar exists to help people from the Heywood area who are in need. It is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 10:30 and 13:30. Entry is via Chapel St.
We provide: hot and cold drinks, toast and snacks, hot meals, showering facilities, washing and drying facilities for clothes and a warm welcoming environment.
The Cellar has been running at Heywood Baptist Church since 2011 and relies on a dedicated team of volunteers and voluntary contributions. This work is supported by the St. Vincent de Paul Society (https://www.svp.org.uk/).
