The developer (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how heywatchsurvey for iPhone and Apple Watch handles data.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers.
All survey data and settings are stored locally on your device(s) and remain under your control.
The app works offline. Any data export you perform (e.g., CSV) is initiated by you and saved to a destination you choose.
We do not collect:
Personal information (name, email, contact info)
Usage analytics or diagnostics
Location data
Advertising identifiers
Health data or any sensitive categories
We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or trackers.
Survey content & responses are saved locally on your iPhone.
If you use the Apple Watch companion, responses may sync between your own iPhone and Apple Watch only; they are not sent to us.
Exports: When you export CSV files, you choose where to save or share them. We do not receive copies.
Notifications: Used to deliver local reminders you schedule. Notification content is generated on-device.
No other permissions are required.
We do not share data with any third parties. There is no server-side processing.
All data resides on your device(s). You can delete your data at any time by:
Using the in-app Clear Data feature (if available), and/or
Deleting the app from your device (which removes its local data).
The app does not target children. Researchers and organizers are responsible for obtaining any required consent from participants before use.
If we change how the app handles data (for example, adding cloud sync or analytics), we will update this policy and the App Store listing before those changes take effect.
