Electric Boogaloo is an overhead thwack bot made from a tombstone with a tack on the back that acts as the hammer head. The robot has been competing since 2018, formerly being known as Thwack Attack and using a BYOB base with the swinging axe attachment.
The most notable tournament appearance of Electric Boogaloo was in Robot Khaos season 3, in which it won the Last Chance Tournament to get the 16 seed in the bracket, beating Cyclone, Blindside, and Cat King. It also had other notable fights in later seasons of Robot Khaos, most recently it’s memorable matchup against Bung in Robot Khaos Season 7.
Electric Boogaloo has had several recreations on other channels, ranging from Lego models to other Hexbug variations, making it one of the most recreated Hexbug mods. It’s status as a meme bot and it’s memorable moments helped it earn its way into the HOF.
