Blindside

 Blindside is an overhead horizontal spinner from Khaotic Robotics built in 2019, introduced in his video "The Most Powerful Hexbug Weapon." And it's kept that reputation throughout its career, still being one of the most devastating spinners in the competition after 4 years of competitions. In early fights, it would often flip itself over, especially against wedges.

It has received many upgrades over the years. Besides the front wedge changing many times, its blade has been changed multiple times. The most notable ones are the addition of the sharpened teeth which could toss robots around in 2021, and a tribar spinner which helped it stop flipping itself in fights was added in early 2022. Shortly thereafter, it was painted green to replace its original grey color scheme.

Blindside has inspired many, many similar robots from other creators, such as Explosive Robotics' Hurricane, Theo Hummel's Nuke, and to a lesser extent Oof Robotics' Dark Matter. WT Dynamics and Duckbots both made their own models of the robot. The impact it's had on the community is undeniable.
