About
I am a Seoul-based designer working in spatial and furniture design with an experimental, artistic approach.
My work begins with everyday objects and situations. I look for their hidden potential, then transform and distort them to create new experiences and sensations. I am interested in the space between function and perception, and in how design can be felt as much as it is used.
I have worked at Maarten De Ceulaer Studio in Belgium, where I exchanged ideas with Dutch designers and encountered a highly conceptual and experimental way of thinking. I also worked at Kwangho Lee Studio in Seoul, where I gained experience in large-scale installations and craftsmanship-based production.
These experiences have shaped my practice, where contemporary sensibility and an artisanal mindset exist side by side. Through this work, I continue to build my own design world and present a contemporary vision of Korean design to an international audience.
