Dr. Heui Beom Lee is an Assistant Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at the University of South Carolina. His research is focused on the design and synthesis of new transition metal complexes for the catalytic conversion and valorization of important small molecules relevant to energy and the environment. He is particularly interested in implementing concepts of metal-metal and metal-ligand cooperativity for new reaction discovery, aiming to contribute toward more efficient and sustainable chemical processes.
